How to Rename, Delete, Copy, or Move Datasets and Cubes

In the Datasets tab of the Navigation pane, you can rename, delete, copy, or move your datasets and cubes.

To copy, rename, delete, copy or move datasets and cubes

1. Open the Workstation window with the Navigation pane in smart mode.
2. In the Navigation pane, click Datasets.
3. To rename a dataset or cube, right-click it and choose Rename. Enter a new name and press the Enter key.
4. To delete a dataset or cube, right-click it and choose Delete. Click OK to confirm the deletion.
5. If you have datasets or cubes in a shared environment, you can copy the dataset or cube to a new location in the same environment. Right-click the dataset or cube and choose Copy To. In the pop-up dialog, navigate to the environment you want to copy to dataset or cube to and click Copy.
6. If you have datasets or cubes in a shared environment, you can move the dataset or cube to a new location in the same environment. Right-click the dataset or cube and choose Move To. In the pop-up dialog, navigate to the environment you want to move the dataset or cube to and click Move.
