MicroStrategy ONE
Graph Type: Scatter
The standard configuration draws rectangular markers for all risers. After the graph is created, you can select different marker shapes for all or individual series in the graph. You can select one of the following layouts for the Scatter plot:
-
X-Y Scatter: Either shows the relationships among the numeric values in several data series or plots two groups of numbers as one series of XY coordinates. When you arrange your data, place X values in one row or column, and then enter corresponding Y values in the adjacent rows or columns. This graph style is very similar to the Bubble chart, as it takes two columns of data and makes a marker for each row. The first column is plotted along the X-axis and the second column along the Y-axis. Additional columns are ignored.
-
Dual Axis X-Y Scatter: Makes a Scatter graph with two numeric axes. This allows you to chart some of the series on one axis and some of the series on another axis. Each row can be placed on any axis of your choice.
-
X-Y-Z Scatter chart: Is a three-dimensional Scatter plot.
When you select a subtype in the dialog box, an example appears in the lower window. Click OK to apply the selected graph type to your report data.
