Formatting HTML containers using the Formatting toolbar
The Formatting toolbar provides easy access to basic formatting options such as fonts, colors, and basic borders. Basic borders do not include 3D borders or drop shadows.
To format HTML containers using the Formatting toolbar
-
Open the document to be formatted in the Document Editor. (How?)
-
Select the HTML container to be formatted.
-
The Formatting toolbar presents common functionality such as font, alignment, and border. Click the icons for the properties to change and then select the new settings.
-
Font formatting applies only to HTML containers using HTML tags, not iFrame. For the HTML text type, the Font and Forecolor properties are overwritten by any formatting specified in the HTML tags. For the iFrame type, the Font and Forecolor properties do not apply to the content of the website displayed by the URL. For examples and a more detailed explanation, see Formatting HTML containers.
-
To use a gradient (a two-color combination) for the background, you must use either the Property List or the Format Objects dialog box. For instructions, see Formatting HTML containers using the Property List or Formatting HTML containers using the Format Objects dialog box.
