Graph Type: Line
The Graph Type dialog box contains the following tabs for the Line graph that allow you to create different subtypes of Line graphs:
-
Horizontal
-
Vertical
-
3D
You can select one of the following layouts for the area graph:
-
Absolute: Draws line risers on top of each other to show the absolute relationships between data series.
-
Stacked: Stacks line risers on top of each other. The axis is the cumulative total of all the groups.
-
BipolarAbsolute: Have two horizontal axes and place alternate risers on top of each other in each group, in the top and bottom half of the graph. The scaling is the same for the vertical axis, but the labels are placed on alternate sides.
-
Bipolar Stacked: Have two horizontal axes and place alternate risers in each group, side by side in the top and bottom half of the graph. The scaling is the same for the vertical axis, but the labels are placed on alternate sides.
-
Dual Axis Absolute: For Absolute graphs, makes a graph with two numeric axes. This allows you to chart some of the series on one axis and some of the series on another axis.
-
Dual Axis Stacked: For Stacked graphs, makes a graph with two numeric axes. This allows you to chart some of the series on one axis and some of the series on another axis.
-
Percent: Is a line version of a pie graph. Each group calculates the percent of the total required for each series. The axis goes from zero to 100%.
-
3D Series: Shows trend information along a series dimension.
-
3D Group: Shows trend information along a group dimension.
When you select a subtype in the dialog box, an example appears in the lower window. Click OK to apply the selected graph type to your report data.
