Graph Type: Area
The Graph Type dialog box contains the following tabs for the Area graph; each tab contains different subtypes of Area graphs:

Horizontal

Vertical

You can select one of the following layouts for the Area graph:

Absolute: Draws area risers on top of each other to show the absolute relationships between data series.

Stacked: Stacks area risers on top of each other. The axis is the cumulative total of all the groups.

Percent: An area version of a Pie chart. Each group calculates the percent of the total required for each series. The axis goes from zero to 100%.

Dual Axes: For Absolute and Stacked area graphs, makes an area graph with two numeric axes. This allows you to chart some of the series on one axis and some of the series on another axis.

Bipolar: Divides the series between two physical axes in the graph.

Percent: An area version of a Pie chart. Each group calculates the percent of the total required for each series. The axis goes from zero to 100%.

3D Series: Shows trend information along a series.

3D Group: Shows trend information along a group dimension.
When you select a subtype in the dialog box, an example appears in the lower window. Click OK to apply the selected graph type to your report data.
