Prerequisites

Strategy One (August 2025) introduces a preview feature, Auto Dashboard 2.0, which has been enhanced to improve responses and the design process. Beginning in Strategy One (September 2025), Auto Dashboard 2.0 is available out-of-the-box.

Auto Dashboard is supported in Managed Cloud Enterprise (MCE) and starting in MicroStrategy ONE (March 2024), Auto Dashboard is supported on the Managed Cloud Government platform. Users can only use Auto Dashboard in Strategy Library.

Starting in MicroStrategy ONE Update 12, Auto Dashboard is only available in Library. This release also adds improved support for creating visualizations and pages.

Starting in MicroStrategy ONE Update 11, users can create a dashboard page using any locales and visualizations will generate following their locale setting.

To leverage Strategy Auto Dashboard, users need the Use Auto Assistant and ML Visualizations and Use Collaboration Services privileges.

Enable Auto Dashboard for a Dashboard

If the Auto Dashboard icon is not displayed in the dashboard's toolbar, as shown below, enable Auto Dashboard.

From the File menu, select Dashboard Properties.
In the navigation bar on the left, click Auto.
From the Enable Auto Dashboard 2.0 drop-down list, select On.
Click OK.
