Strategy ONE

Enable the MCP Server

If you are working with a container-based environment, enable the MCP server before connecting MCP clients to it for interaction with agents.

  1. Once your environment is ready, open Workstation.

  2. In the navigation bar on the left, click Environments, if it is not already open.

  3. Double-click your environment to connect.

  4. Right-click your environment and select Properties.

  5. In the navigation bar on the left, click Library.

  6. In the Authentication Modes section, select OIDC.

  7. Click Create Trusted Relationship.

  8. Scroll to the Cookies section.

  9. For SameSite Attribute, select None. Enable HTTP Only and Enable Secure are then selected automatically.

  10. Scroll to the Model Context Protocol for Agent section.

  11. Generate the client secret by clicking the icon next to the Client Secret box.

  12. Copy and save the Client Secret, which is used in the MCP client configuration.

  13. Click OK to save your changes.

  14. Restart the Library server to apply the changes.
