Filter Value Dialog

When importing data from a database by building a SQL query, you can define a filter based on a column to filter the data that you want to import.

Access the Filter Dialog Box

  1. Open the Import from Tables dialog while building a SQL query for an import.
  2. In the Query Builder pane, right-click the column in which you want to define the filter and choose Basic Filters or All Filters.

  3. Select one of the conditions.

    4. Certain conditions are only available for specific data types.

  4. Enter a Value.

  5. Click OK.

  6. The new filter appears in the Filters pane. You can add more than one condition to the filter.

  7. Click Save.

    8. You will see a filter icon on the left side of the column.

  8. Double-click to select the column and continue importing your data.
