Decertify Dashboards, Documents, Reports, Datasets, and Cubes
When a certified dashboard, document, report, dataset, or cube is no longer considered current or official, it can be decertified by users with the appropriate permissions.
For example, the Marketing department publishes a new, certified dataset for use by all data scientists and analysts, to replace an older, outdated dataset. You decertify the old dataset to indicate that it is no longer considered an official source.
- Open the Workstation window with the Navigation pane in smart mode.
- In the Navigation pane, click Dashboards, Documents, Reports, or Datasets. You can only decertify dashboards, documents, reports, datasets, and cubes in the corresponding Dashboards, Documents, Reports, and Datasets areas of the Navigation pane.
- Right-click the object to decertify. A badge icon
displays on all certified objects. - Click Decertify. The badge icon
disappears from the object to indicate it is no longer certified.
