Determine Where Content is Displayed using the HTML Template

The HTML template is the page you want to modify, opened in an HTML editor. Modify the HTML template to determine where content is displayed. Before you do this, take a moment to understand the basic layout of the default page template.

The images below show four possible customized layouts. These new layouts are achieved by simply editing the HTML template:

Once you determine where the content is displayed by modifying the HTML template, you can then modify the Page Configuration file to determine what content is displayed in your newly located page-sections. The image below shows an HTML template modified like the layout above in #3, to have two horizontal content page-sections, one content area displaying a report and the other content area displaying the folders:
