Understand the Architecture
The key to achieving the type of customization you want in the most efficient way is to customize the right component. The diagram below shows the Web components that are customizable, highlighted in blue. Each component is shown where it comes into play within the architecture. For example, "Load Page definition" is a customizable component that is activated during the Load Page phase of a data query.
