Mosaic Studio Prerequisites

See the following prerequisites before using Mosaic Studio:

• An active AI service with a configured collaboration service.

• Data Engine version 2021 or later for existing projects.

• Users must have the following privileges to create or modify Mosaic models and import data files:

  • Use Mosaic Studio

  • Use Library Web

  • Use application objects

  • You must also have one or more of the following privileges:

    • Access data (files) from Local, URL, Dropbox, Google Drive, Sample Files, Clipboard, Push API

    • Access data from Databases, Google BigQuery, BigData, OLAP, BI tools

    • Access data from Cloud App (Google Analytics, Salesforce Reports, Facebook, Twitter)

• Custom JDBC drivers should be placed under the Modeling Service, if needed.

• Toggle on the New Mosaic Model application component:

  1. In the Workstation Navigation pane, click Applications.

  2. Right-click the application and choose Edit.

  3. Click Components in the left navigation.

  4. Under Create New Content (Web Only), toggle on New Mosaic Model.

  5. Click Save.
