Introduction to the Outline Window

The Outline window displays what objects are in each section of the document. If a section contains objects, it will have an expand/collapse symbol next to it. You can expand it to see the objects.

To access the Outline window

Open a document in Design Mode. The Dataset Objects window appears to the left of the document layout. Click the Outline box to the lower left.

Outline window: The window displays all of the sections in the document and the objects that are in those sections. This window allows you to look at all of the components of the document sections without having to view the whole document.
