Email, File, and Printer Preferences for Subscriptions

If you own the MicroStrategy Distribution Services product, you can set delivery options in MicroStrategy Web, such as where to deliver scheduled reports and documents. Distribution Services can deliver these files to an email address, to a file location on a network, or to a printer location on a network. Information for each type of delivery location is provided below.

MicroStrategy Web must be configured to use Distribution Services.

On the upper right of any page, click your user name, and then select Preferences from the drop-down. From the left, select Email addresses, File locations, or Printer locations. The following options are available:

Email addresses

The Email Addresses page lets you manage email addresses associated with report deliveries based on a schedule, as well as the Send (email) Now feature. Use these preferences to add, change, and delete email addresses.

File locations

The File Locations page lets you manage file locations for scheduled deliveries. This interface allows you to create, edit, and delete file locations.

Printer locations

The Printer Location page lets you manage printer locations for scheduled deliveries. This page allows you to create, edit, and delete printer locations.
