Strategy One

Maximize or Restore a Visualization

You can maximize a visualization, so that it fits the entire visualization area or restore it to its default size.

  • If the visualization is on a panel, it maximizes to the size of the panel.

  • If the visualization is on a page, it maximizes to the size of the page.

Starting in Strategy One (February 2026), the dashboard designer can allow visualizations on a panel to maximize to the size of the dashboard. This setting is available on the Dashboard Properties Dialog.

  • To maximize the display of a visualization, hover over the visualization and click Maximize to maximize the display of the visualization.

  • To restore a visualization to its original size, hover over the visualization and click Restore to maximize the display of the visualization.

If a visualization is the only object on a panel and the dashboard is defined to allow visualizations on a panel to maximize to the size of the panel, not the dashboard, maximize/restore is unavailable since the visualization is already at the maximum size.

If the Maximize icon is not available when the dashboard is viewed, the dashboard designer has hidden it. The Maximize icon is always available when editing the dashboard.

Hide or Display the Maximize Icon

  1. Edit the dashboard.

  2. Hover your cursor over the visualization and click Visualization Options in the top right.

  3. To hide the icon, select Hide "Maximize".

  4. To display the hidden icon, select Show "Maximize".
