Disconnecting from a server

When you are finished working with a metadata source in Command Manager, you may wish to disconnect from that source. Note that shutting down Command Manager will automatically disconnect all current connections.

To disconnect from a project source or Narrowcast Server

  1. Select the Script window whose connection you wish to terminate.

  2. From the File menu, choose Disconnect, or click the X in the upper right-hand corner of the Script window. The connection terminates and the Script window closes. If you have any unsaved scripts in this Script window, you are prompted to save them.

To end all open connections

From the File menu, choose Disconnect All. All open Script windows close. If you have any unsaved scripts in any Script window, you are prompted to save them.

This option also closes connection-less Script windows.
