Saving one or more scripts

Command Manager scripts are saved in plain text files. The default file extension for Command Manager scripts is .scp.

You can encrypt Command Manager scripts so that they are no longer human-readable, and require a password to be opened. The default file extension for encrypted scripts is .scpx.

To save a script

  1. Select the script's tab in its Script window.
  2. From the File menu, choose Save or Save As.
  3. If you have not saved this script before, or if you chose Save As, navigate to the directory in which you wish to save the script, enter a name for it, and click Save. The script is saved.

To save all scripts in a Script window

  1. Select the Script window for which to save all scripts.
  2. From the File menu, choose Save All.
  3. For each script you have not saved before, navigate to the directory in which you wish to save the script, enter a name for it, and click Save. The scripts are saved.
