Report Properties Dialog: Template Details Tab

Access

1. Open a new or existing document.

2. Choose Format > Report Details Properties > Template Details.

Units from View or Base Choose whether to include the base or view report in the Template Details section. A view report is created by moving objects from the report grid to the Report Objects window, using a view filter, or creating a derived metric. The original report before you made these kinds of modifications is referred to as the base report.

Base Template name Choose whether to include the template name in the Template Details section.

Template Description Choose whether to include the short description of the template in the Template Details section.

Non-metric template units Choose whether to include objects on the report other than metrics, such as attributes and consolidations on in the Template Details section.

Metrics Choose whether to include the metrics on the report in the Template Details section. If you choose to display metrics, the following settings are also available, so that you can select whether to include or omit them.

  • Dimensionality
  • Transformation
  • Formula
  • Conditionality
  • Conditional Metrics only

For all the settings listed above, you can also choose to inherit the setting instead. If you are formatting a specific template details auto text code, the setting is inherited from the document setting. If you are formatting the document, the setting is inherited from the report setting.
