Styles

This setting corresponds to the properties defined in the Style Catalog Configuration file (styleCatalog.xml located in WEB-INF\xml inside the MicroStrategy Web installation folder). This configuration file is responsible for presenting the data.

The ReportGridStyle when accessed through the Application Settings view is shown below. It displays the basic properties such as name, description and the transform used by that style.

You can view information about transform parameters used by the ReportGridStyle by clicking the Style Parameters tab at the bottom. The picture below shows the list of transform parameters and their properties.

You can view information about the layout definition file used by the ReportGridStyle by clicking the Style Layouts tab at the bottom. The picture below shows the location and source of layout definition file.

You can use the right-click menu by clicking on a style in the hierarchical tree. The menu offers several options for creating a new style or a transform, editing, duplicating or deleting an existing style, and so on.
