Creating a New Style

This topic provides step-by-step instructions on creating a new style.

1. Launch the Style Creation Wizard.  

2. Enter the name and description for the style in the Style Name and Description text boxes respectively.  

3. Select a transform definition to associate with the style by using the drop-down menu labeled Transform Defn or clicking New Transform Defn.  

4. Click Next.  

5. Use the shopping cart to select the transform parameters to be added for the style.

   If you highlight only one transform parameter in either pane, the declaration for that parameter is displayed in the pane below, together with other information about the parameter. If you highlight multiple features, only the text Multiple Selection is displayed.

6. Click Next.  

7. Select each transform parameter and specify values for it.  

8. Click Next.  

9. Browse and select the layout definition file that will be associated with the style.  

10. Click Next.  

11. The Results screen of the wizard displays the selections you made in the previous screens.  

12. Click Finish.

The new style gets added under the Styles setting of the Web Customization Editor.
