Importing consolidation elements

You can import consolidation elements from an existing consolidation into another consolidation. This allows you to reuse consolidation elements, especially if you created a particularly complex consolidation element that applies to multiple consolidations.

When a consolidation element is imported, a new consolidation element is created.

To import a consolidation element

1. Open the Consolidation Editor. (How?)

2. From the Elements menu, choose Import Elements. The Select a Consolidation dialog box opens.

3. Locate and select the consolidation from which to import elements and click Open. The Import Consolidation Elements dialog box opens.

4. Select the check boxes for the consolidation elements to import and click OK. You are returned to the Consolidation Editor.

A new consolidation element is created for each imported consolidation element.
