About dynamic sourcing

The general workflow of reporting on data in Intelligent Cubes is to create a report that is linked to a published Intelligent Cube. Dynamic sourcing makes Intelligent Cubes more accessible by allowing regular reports to access any published Intelligent Cubes that can satisfy the data requirements of the report. This connection is performed automatically without the user having to explicitly connect their report to a published Intelligent Cube. This allows users performing ROLAP analysis to work completely within a pre-created set of data without having to manually find and select the Intelligent Cube that fits their analysis.
