New Condition/Condition Editor Dialog

When you are importing data from a database, by building a SQL query, you can define a condition to select the data that you want to import.

Access

To access the New Condition/Condition Editor dialog:

1. Open the Import from Tables window while building a SQL query for an import.
2. Click Filter .

Fields

Type Expression: Enter the expression you want to define, as part of the condition, in the pane.

Insert : Click to select a MicroStrategy function to insert into the expression.

Validate: Click to check your expression for valid syntax.

Clear: Click to clear the contents in the pane.
