Inserting previously executed scripts: Script History

The Script History feature saves each set of instructions submitted for execution that passes the syntax check. When Script History is enabled, you can select a previously executed instruction set from the History drop-down list in the toolbar to insert it in the active Script window.

Every script or script selection that executes to completion (without being interrupted by an error or by the user) is stored in the Script History. The History feature does not differentiate script data by project source connection; it presents data from multiple connections on the same display.

To insert a copy of a recently executed script into a Script window

  1. Click in the Script window at the point where you wish to insert the recently executed script.
  2. Click the arrow on the History drop-down. This will display a list of all the instruction sets that have recently been executed.
  3. In the drop-down list, select the set of instructions that you wish to insert. The instructions are inserted into your script.
