How to Maintain Intelligence Server Connections After a Restart
You can ensure that MicroStrategy Web automatically reconnects to an Intelligence Server in the event that either the Intelligence Server or the Web server is restarted.

Access the MicroStrategy Web Administrator page. (How?)

From the pane on the left, select Servers.

Select Modify for the Intelligence Server connection to edit. The Default Server Properties page opens.

Select the Automatically connect to Intelligence Server when Web Server or Intelligence Server is restarted checkbox.

Click Save.
