Strategy One

How to Connect to Snowflake

Snowflake is a cloud-based data platform that offers flexible data warehouse offerings.

In Strategy, users can directly connect to Snowflake using shipped drivers and connectors to query Snowflake's data, enabling advanced analytics, dashboard creation, and report generation on Snowflake-stored data, leveraging Strategy's extensive analytical and visualization tools. This seamless integration empowers organizations to make data-driven decisions with real-time insights derived from their Snowflake data warehouse.

Follow Strategy Best Practices for Securing Snowflake Connections to establish secured connectivity to Snowflake in Strategy.

Strategy only supports Standard (username/password), OAuth, Key Pair, and PAT (Programmatic Access Token) authentication modes when connecting to Snowflake. Warehouse pass-through authentication is also supported.

Kerberos, Delegation UID, Integrated, and external browser authentication modes are not supported.
