Task Creation Wizard

The Task Creation Wizard creates a new task (bean-based or Java-based) to be used by MicroStrategy Web.

This wizard can be accessed as follows.

1. Launch the Web Customization Editor.  

2. Click on MicroStrategy Web Configuration inside the Application Settings view to expand the hierarchical tree. The expanded list comprises the different settings that can be modified to perform customizations.  

3. Right-click Tasks and select New Task to launch the Transform Creation Wizard.

Or  

1. Launch the Web Customization Editor.  

2. Click on MicroStrategy Web Configuration inside the Application Settings view to expand the hierarchical tree. The expanded list comprises the different settings that can be modified to perform customizations.  

3. Click on Tasks to expand the list of tasks used in MicroStrategy Web.  

4. Right-click any task and select New Task to launch the Transform Creation Wizard.
