Modifying a Ribbon

This topic provides step-by-step instructions on editing ribbons within an existing ribbon list.

1. Launch the Web Customization Editor.  

2. Click on MicroStrategy Web Configuration inside the Application Settings view to expand the hierarchical tree. The expanded list comprises the different settings that can be modified to perform customizations.  

3. Click on Ribbons to expand the list of ribbon lists used in MicroStrategy Web.  

4. Click the ribbon list that contains the ribbon you wish to modify.  

5. Double-click the ribbon you wish to modify. This opens the Ribbon and Attributes editor in the right frame.  

6. Edit the information for the ribbon.  

7. Save your changes.
