Duplicating a Page

This topic provides step-by-step instructions on duplicating a new MicroStrategy Web page by copying from an existing MicroStrategy Web page or inheriting properties from an existing MicroStrategy Web page. To achieve the same task by using the Edit/Create Page Wizard, see Creating a New Page. You can also create a new empty page where you define most of the page properties.

  1. Launch the Web Customization Editor.  

  2. Click on MicroStrategy Web Configuration inside the Application Settings view to expand the hierarchical tree. The expanded list comprises the different settings that can be modified to perform customizations.  

  3. Click on Pages to expand the list of MicroStrategy Web Pages.  

  4. Right-click on the MicroStrategy Web Page you wish to duplicate and select Duplicate -> by making a copy of this page or  Duplicate -> by inheriting from this page. The duplicated page gets added to the hierarchical tree and opens on the right displaying the Basic Properties tab.
