Customize the Look and Feel

You can use the Format panel in MicroStrategy Desktop, Workstation, or Web to customize the look and feel of a visualization.

Some things to keep in mind regarding general formatting:

  • The fill color of the container becomes the background color of the visualization if the visualization is transparent and has the same boundaries as the container.
  • If you do not specify a font on the Format panel, the visualization inherits the global default font. You can set the global font by choosing Format > Dashboard Properties.
  1. Open MicroStrategy Desktop, Workstation or Web.

  2. Open the Format panel.

  3. In the first drop-down, choose the area of the visualization you want to modify and then select the corresponding format options.
