MDX Query Result Rows

MDX Query Result Rows is an advanced property that is hidden by default. For information on how to display this property, see Viewing and Changing Advanced VLDB Properties.

This VLDB property allows users to set the maximum number of rows that each MDX query can return against MSAS and Essbase for a hierarchical attribute. The default value is -1, which means there’s no limit. Any positive integer value can be set as the maximum number of rows. Any values other than positive integers are treated as default, meaning they have no limit. When the limit is exceeded, an error message appears.
