Removing a drill map association

A drill map determines what happens when you drill on an object in a report. Objects can be associated with drill maps, making them the location where the drill starts. For each object associated with a drill map, at least one drill path is created.

To remove a drill map association

1. In the Drill Map Editor, select the associated object in the Origin list. For steps to access the Drill Map Editor, see Accessing the Drill Map Editor.

2. Click Remove Association to set the object's drill map back to the system hierarchy.

If the object is associated with other drill maps at different levels, a drill map other than the system hierarchy appears. For more information on levels, refer to the Advanced Reporting Help.
