Line and border formatting for graph objects

The Line options allow you to change the formatting of lines and borders in your graph report, such as the lines in a Line graph or the axis lines of a graph. You can modify lines with the following options:

  • Style: Applies a line style to the selected line.

  • Color: Applies a color from the color grid to the selected line.

  • Thickness: Applies a line thickness or width to the selected line.

  • Transparency: Sets how visible a line is. As you set the transparency of a line closer to 100 it becomes less visible.

A preview pane shows a sample of how the line looks with the selected line-formatting options.

By default, all series in a graph share the same border formatting, which means that changing the border formatting for one series applies to all series for the graph. To define unique border formatting for each series in a graph, you must first select the general graph preferences option Allow different borders per series.
