Consolidation Editor toolbar options

The Consolidation Editor provides a set of toolbar icons to help define and modify consolidations. In addition to standard Windows options such as Save and Close, these icons include the following options specific to consolidations:

• Add Element: creates a new consolidation element. For instructions and more information, see Creating consolidation elements.

• Delete Element: removes the selected element.

• Rename Element: changes the name of the selected element. Changing the name from the default is recommended because it is displayed on reports. For instructions, see Renaming consolidation elements.

• Collapse All: hides the expressions in the Elements for this consolidation pane.

• Expand All: displays the expressions in the Elements for this consolidation pane.

• Format Element Headers: opens the Format Cells dialog box to format the selected element header (that is, the name of the element). For instructions, see Formatting consolidations.

• Format Element Values: opens the Format Cells dialog box to format the values of the selected element values (the metric values of the element). For instructions, see Formatting consolidations.

• Move Up: moves the selected element one level up in the consolidation display.

• Move Down: moves the selected element one level down in the consolidation display.

• Show Object Browser: toggles between displaying and hiding the Object Browser.
