Consolidation Editor: Elements for this consolidation pane

This pane lists the names and expressions for consolidation elements placed here. This pane allows you to:

• Add consolidation elements to create a consolidation.

• See consolidation elements and their associated expressions. When you select an element or its expression, the selected element pane displays the expression for editing.

• Drag objects directly from the object browser to begin creating an element.

• Import elements from another consolidation using the Import Consolidation Elements dialog box. For more information about importing and a procedure, see Importing consolidation elements.

• Move elements to change the display order in reports.

• Format elements to set how they are displayed in reports. For example, you can format one element as currency and another as a percentage.

Each consolidation element is identified by a name. By default, they are labeled New Consolidation Element, New Consolidation Element (1), and so on, although you can rename them since the names are displayed on reports.
