Re-installing Strategy components on Windows

You can re-install Strategy components if there are problems with previously installed components. During re-installation the list of components previously installed are displayed and these components are re-installed. If you installed the Strategy components using a disk, you need your original installation disk to repair the installation.

The re-installation of Strategy for Office must be performed separately. The procedure for re-installing Strategy for Office is explained in the following section.

To re-install Strategy components

  1. Close all Strategy products.
  2. Open the Microsoft Control Panel and navigate to the options to add or remove programs. Refer to the appropriate Microsoft documentation for steps to access these options.
  3. Within the list of installed programs, select Strategy and click Change. The Strategy Setup Maintenance program opens.
  4. Select Repair and click Next.
  5. Accept the license agreement and click Next.
  6. You are prompted to select Yes to continue with the re-installation procedure and overwrite the components. If you do not want to overwrite the components, select No.
  7. If prompted to stop your Web server, click Yes to stop it and continue with the re-installation.
  8. After the re-installation routine is complete, click Finish.
