Add Data to a Document
You can add data to a document with a dataset.
- In the Dataset Objects pane, click Add a Dataset.
- Navigate to Public Objects > Shared Reports > MicroStrategy Platform Capabilities > Advanced Reporting Guide.

Select 01 Basic Report and click OK.
The Basic Report dataset appears in the Dataset Objects panel along with all of the objects it contains. You can expand and collapse the dataset, as well as the objects in it. Expand an attribute to display all its attribute forms. An attribute form provides descriptive information about a business attribute. The ID form provides a unique identifier for each attribute element. The Description form provides the name of each attribute element. In this case, the Region attribute has an ID and Description form, but Employee has Last Name and First Name forms instead of a description.
