Metric Column Alias Options dialog box

When you select Tools, then Advanced Settings, and then Metric Column Options, the Metric Column Alias Options dialog box opens, which allows you to view and edit metric column names for use in data mart tables and SQL generation. This dialog box consists of:

• An entry box, under Column Name used in table SQL creation, on which individual report columns are displayed

• A Data Type drop-down list

Once a data mart table column has been assigned a name, that name is used in all data mart tables using the metric.
