How to Export Reports that Contain Euro Symbols

If the Euro symbols in a report are not exported correctly, follow the procedure below to resolve the issue:

To ensure that Euro symbols in a report export correctly to Excel 2002 (Microsoft Office XP)

  1. On the upper right of any page, click your user name, and then select Preferences from the drop-down.
  2. From the left, select Export Reports.
  3. In the Excel Options area, from the Excel version drop-down, select Excel XP, Excel 2003 or newer versions.
  4. From your computer's Start menu, select Control Panel.
  5. Double-click Regional Options.
  6. On the Currency tab, select the Euro symbol in the Currency symbol box.
  7. In the Positive and Negative currency format boxes, ensure that the position of the currency symbol is the same as it appears in the report. For example, if the currency symbol is to the right of the amount in the report (such as 1.00$ or 1 Euro), it must be to the right in this dialog box as well.
  8. Click OK.
