Task Administrator Application
The Task Administrator application provides the names, descriptions, and parameters for all of the currently registered public tasks, as well as configuration information for the Task Processor application. You can use the Task Administrator application to construct and test URLs that invoke any of the currently registered public tasks. The Task Administrator is part of MicroStrategy Web and is installed when the MicroStrategy Web application is installed.
To open the Task Administrator application, use one of the URLs shown below.

J2EE environment:
Copyhttp://webserver:port/MicroStrategy/servlet/taskAdmin
where webserver is the machine that hosts the MicroStrategy Web Server and port is the port number to which the MicroStrategy Web Server listens.

.NET environment:
Copyhttp://webserver/MicroStrategy/asp/taskAdmin.aspx
where webserver is the machine that hosts the MicroStrategy Web Server.

This page provides a list of all public tasks that are currently registered with the Task Processor. These include tasks that ship with MicroStrategy Web, as well as any additional tasks that have been added by developers or the administrator.
