Quick Start Guides to Creating and Using Tasks
If you want to start creating and using tasks without first reading all of the explanatory information in the MSDL, there are two Quick Start Guides. One walks you through the process of creating a simple bean-based task using the Web Customization Editor, and the other steps you through how to construct and test a URL that invokes an out-of-the-box task using the Task Viewer application. Neither contains any in-depth explanations. If you have questions while you are using the Quick Start Guides or want a better understanding of what you are doing, you should consult the explanatory topics in this section, which can be found under Understanding Tasks, Creating Tasks, and Using Tasks.
