Monitoring Use Cases

This section provides descriptions and code samples for the following ten use cases, each of which demonstrates a common usage of the Monitoring API. Following each code sample is an explanation of what the code is doing and, if appropriate, a sample output.

• Obtaining a Count of Jobs, grouped first by User, then by Project

• Obtaining a List of All Jobs, filtered by Project Name  

• Obtaining a List of Top 50 User Connections  

• Obtaining a List of Database Connections  

• Obtaining the SQL Statement for a Single Job  

• Disconnecting Users and Database Connections

All of the use cases assume that there is a WebObjectsFactory object named woFactory and that the session has been set up properly on the factory to point to the correct server.
