Create Projects

You create projects to contain your dashboards, documents, reports, datasets, cubes, and so on in a connected environment.

You must be connected to an environment to create new projects.

  1. Open the Workstation window with the Navigation pane in smart mode.
  2. In the Navigation pane, click , next to Projects.
  3. Select the environment you are using in Environment.
  4. Enter a name for your new project in Project Name.
  5. If necessary, enter a description for your project in Description.
  6. Click Create.
  7. Click OK.
