Validating the Upgrade

It is essential that you fully test your new MicroStrategy system to see how it withstands the kind of typical day-to-day system usage your user community requires. If you have upgraded first in a test environment, you can run these tests in the test environment and correct any problems you may find there. Then when you upgrade your production environment, you already have an idea of the kinds of difficulties you may encounter.
