Find and Replace: Select Objects dialog box

The Select Objects dialog box allows you to choose the objects to be modified in a find and replace process.

To select the objects

1. If the Select Objects dialog box is not open, from the Find and Replace dialog box, click Choose a set, then click ... (the Browse button). The Select Objects dialog box opens. For steps to access the Find and Replace dialog box, see Find and Replace dialog box.

2. Select the folder that contains the objects from the Available objects drop-down list.

3. Navigate through the folder to the objects that you want to modify.

4. Select the objects from the Available objects list and click > to move them to the Selected objects list.

   To make multiple selections, keep the CTRL key or the Shift key pressed while making the selections.

5. Click OK to close the Select Objects dialog box and return to the Find and Replace dialog box.
