Report Editor menu bar options: Insert

Options in this menu let you apply dynamic calculations to metric data on a report:

• Percent to Total: Recalculate data by row or column, in terms of the percent relationship between each item and the totals on a report.

• Transformations: Display an item-level comparison between current data and data obtained in a specified period (past week, past month, and so on).

• Rank: Display data according rank (top 10; bottom 5, and so on).

• New Metric: Opens the Input Metric Formula dialog box where you can define derived metrics. A derived metric is based on metrics already in use on the report. A derived metric is applied dynamically when the report is in Grid or Graph view.
