Graph Preferences: Options, Size category

Before you begin

This dialog box is displayed when you select Preferences from the Graph menu of a report. For information about setting graph preferences during find and replace, see Find and Replace: Graph Preferences: Size tab.

The Size category of the Graph Preferences dialog box allows you to determine how the graph size changes when you resize the report window. Select one of the following:

  • Resize using the following aspect ratio: Allows you to set the ratios for the width and height of the graph.

  • Width Ratio: Specify a value for the width of the graph.

  • Height Ratio: Specify a value for the height of the graph.

  • Use a fixed size: Maintains a fixed size for the graph irrespective of the size of the report window.

  • Width: Specify a value for the width of the graph, in pixels.

  • Height: Specify a value for the height of the graph, in pixels.

  • Use all the window size: Resizes the graph according to the size of the report window so that the maximum amount of window space is used.

Web Display - Graph Dimensions

The Web Display - Graph Dimensions options allow you to set default options for Web and HTML document display. Options include:

  • Save dimensions when report is closed: Saves the width and height dimensions of the graph when the user of the report closes and saves the report

  • Use these pixel dimensions: Allows you to set the dimensions for the width and height of graphs:

  • Width: Specify a value for the width of the graph, in pixels.

  • Height: Specify a value for the height of the graph, in pixels.

  • Lock aspect ratio of X by Y from the Size tab: Uses the ratio dimensions defined above for the report window.
