Monitor Metadata Repositories Across Multiple Environments

Platform Analytics can monitor multiple MicroStrategy environments and consolidate the telemetry from these environments into a single repository and project.

Platform Analytics uses a combination of the metadata repository_id and respository_connection_string in order to differentiate metadata with the same GUID in the Platform Analytics Repository. These two fields are included in all of the telemetry logs in order to identify the data collected from the different environments.

• repository_id: A unique metadata Repository GUID which is added during the metadata creation. Each newly created metadata will have a unique respository_id. A backup of the metadata will retain its repository _id when restored it to a new environment.

• repository_connection_string: The metadata database connection URL.
