How to Search for Dependent Objects

You can search for the dependents of an object. That is, you can search for the objects that use them. This type of search can identify which reports, documents, and so on will be affected by changes to the object.

When you search a report for its dependents, any dashboard or document that uses that report as a data set is displayed. If you search an attribute for its dependents, any dashboards, documents, and reports that use that attribute are displayed.

To search for dependent objects, right-click an object and select Find Dependents.
