Configure User Password Expiration

Starting in MicroStrategy ONE (June 2024), Administrators can configure password expiration for a given user to enhance security, by regularly prompting users to update their passwords, mitigating the risk of unauthorized access due to compromised or weak credentials.

1. Open the Workstation window.
2. In the Navigation pane, click Users & Groups.

3. In the left pane, click All Users.

   

4. Right–click user(s) and choose Edit User.



5. Turn on Enable Password Expiration.

6. Enter the Expiration Date, Expiration (days), and Expiration Frequency (Days).



7. Click Save.
